This past weekend we had the pleasure of visiting Communichaos Media Clay Station. During two intense days we managed to record drums and guitars on twelve new songs, that hopefully will result in our second album. We have the great pleasure to present this year’s first booked and confirmed show; Hässäkkä-päivät in Oulu/Finland. It’s three years since we last played at this festival. Thrilled to see you all again in July.
In 2017 we celebrated five years as a band. We managed to tour Scotland/UK with Thisclose (Oww!) and to create total mayhem over Europe together with Mob 47. Besides that we also did some shows in Sweden and Norway. It was our most active year when it comes to gigs.
We released ‘Praise No Deity’ (The Sign Records/Konton Crasher), contributed with two unreleased tracks for the ‘The New Wave Of The Grave New Beat 2, V/a’ (Our Future) and recorded a Misfits cover, “All Hell Breaks Loose” for the CVLT Nation Sessions – Misfits “Walk Among Us”.
But the biggest news for this years was probably that we went online. Which resulted in thousands of new friends from all over the world. No regrets.
A million thanks to everyone who came to our gigs, organizers and everybody who gave us food and somewhere to sleep. All who bought, downloaded or stole our records (and merch). All fanzines who showed interest, interviewed us and for keeping the spirit burning. All we worked and collaborated with in some way. To many to mention. All who support and spread the message of what we do. Last but not the very least, the three most important people for our existence and evolution; Kenko/Communichaos, Andrew Morgan/Viral Age Records and Motokazu Tsukuda. Without them, no 偏執症者 (Paranoid). Hontōni arigatō!
For 2018 we’ve booked and confirmed the recording of our second album in March. There are plans of another European tour, US east-coast devastation and SE Asian tour. No promises or guarantees but we’ll do our best to make it happen! Buckle up and prepare yourself for a joyride from hell and more heavy mental chaotic fuck-up noise.
